Tydified Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and DS Santiago LLC ("Tydified," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Tydified mobile app and related services (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and a parent or legal guardian to create an account. By using the App you represent that you meet these requirements and that any child profiles you create are for children in your care.
2. The service
Tydified lets a parent or guardian create a family, add child profiles, assign chores, approve completed chores, award points, and define and redeem rewards. Children do not sign in; the parent manages all activity on their behalf. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time.
3. Your account and your family
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for all activity under your account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for the child profile information you enter and for obtaining any consents required for you to manage that information.
- You agree to use the App only for your own family's personal, non-commercial use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose;
- attempt to access other families' data or interfere with the App's security or operation;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the App except as permitted by law;
- upload content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Subscriptions and payments (Tydified Plus)
- Tydified offers an optional paid subscription, Tydified Plus, which unlocks unlimited children and chores and additional premium features. A free tier with limited capacity is available.
- Tydified Plus is offered on a monthly or yearly basis. The two options provide the same features; the yearly option is offered at a lower effective price.
- Billing is handled by Apple or Google, not by Tydified. Purchases are charged to your App Store or Google Play account.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple or Google account settings.
- Refunds are handled according to Apple's or Google's policies. We generally cannot issue refunds directly.
6. Points and rewards
Points and rewards in Tydified are virtual items with no monetary value, are not redeemable for cash, and exist solely as a feature of the App for your family's use. You are responsible for honoring any real-world rewards you choose to define for your family.
7. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, branding, and content we provide, is owned by DS Santiago LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of the content you create (such as chore and reward names); you grant us a limited license to host and process it to operate the App.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DS Santiago LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (More → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice in the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
